How you propagate a website depends largely on it's consistency. If it's light and powdery, like sand, you can gather some in a jar and keep it in a dark and warm corner of the room. Important thing to note, though, is that as websites get older, they usually harden into a stone-like state. Those sites can not be propagated properly. It is very hard to achieve a propagation at all, and even if you succeed, the resulting site will most likely not work in a modern browser.
